No matter to me, the only other music mod I use is medieval tavern music, which doesn't conflict with this mod.įrom Hothtrooper: They will be using the same lists, so a merge in testedit or a patch would be needed to use both and expect to keep all the content both contain.įrom AceeQ: A simple merge with TES5Edit should do it.įrom JDegenerate: Doesn't hurt to try. It's basically a level list of music so if merge plugins can't accomplish this then I guess it's not worth much. thedevil5600 wrote: Thanks for clearing that up JDegenerate wrote: Just giving people something to try. I will post back after my incredibly slow download is finished and I have taken a look at the way the plugins are set up. But it would also need a patch for any other mods which make edits to those spaces - such as lighting overhaul mods (ELFX, RLO,etc.) In the case of this mod, Immersive Music, the temples plugin probably changes the music type in specific temple locations, so if using it, then yes, a patch will be needed for SoS, and maybe AOS (I have to take a look). Most music mods don't make these kinds of changes, though - they just change the track lists, and leave the music types defined for different places / areas as they are in the vanilla game. The only music mods that would require a patch are ones that change the music type used for regional areas or (in the case of SoS) change the music type used for specific locations / cities / towns. So the Merge Plugins Script will not work in this case, because the track lists of the latest / lowest loading plugin will just override the others.Īlso, AOS (Audio Overhaul for Skyrim) and SoS (Sounds of Skyrim) are not music mods, and for the vast majority of music mods, do not require any patch whatsoever. This can be done either in the CK or using TES5Edit. You have to manually add tracks to one of the existing mods' plugins (or a new one) to "merge" music mods.
