Over 24 Kombatants are included in the game’s roster, including well-known fighters Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kano, and Raiden, as well as new fighters including Cassie Cage, D’Vorah, and Kotal Kahn. The free-to-play mobile version of Mortal Kombat X blends together fighting along with card collection that’s been designed specifically for phones and tablets. The Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC version of the game will be releasing next week on April 14th.The iOS version of Mortal Kombat X is now available to download for free, NetherRealm and Warner Bros.

This in turn will allow players to engage in Faction Wars that will unlock other features in the mobile and PC/Console versions. The connectivity will be initiated once the PC and Console versions of the games have released. There is even an ‘allies’ feature which gives players the ability to borrow a friends character to help them in a fight. The game will also feature daily events and online multiplayer battles.īesides this, the game is also set to feature a new Challenge Mode which should arrive at a later date. There are about 24 fighters to choose from in the games roster and players can collect upgradable gear for their fighters which will unlock some cool finishing moves. Unlike the PC/Console version, Mortal Kombat X for the mobile will feature elements from card collection and fighting titles for a fun and balanced experience. And now the team has another title to add to their mobile games list with Mortal Kombat X.
Developers NetherRealm’s Studio seems to be doing pretty well in the mobile gaming department with popular releases like Injustice: Gods Among Us and WWE Immortals.
